Apparently holy paladin is doing 15k DPS. I’m not able to get nearly that high of numbers when I am shooting at training dummies.
This seems severely odd to me that THE literal DPS healer, the disc priest, would be dealing such staggeringly less damage.
Where is the balance? I feel like I’m missing some core design philosophy. Disc priest is the defacto DPS healer that does damage to heal… damaging is their core thing…
So why is holy paladin doing like literally double the DPS?
So you want disc priests DPS to be bumped up by 200?
Well, Im sure in return Paladins will want their heals buffed by 200
Well, that’s not true anymore. Paladins have to use their DPS abilities to increase their healing output, so now there are more than 1 DPS healer…or how about fistweaving monks?
It getting to be a game now, how many posts will there be trying to nerf paladins based on one guy in one instance on Youtube playing for maximum dps instead of maximum healing.
There are more Shamans in the Top 20, 100 and 200.
And I thought people didn’t want Blizzard to balance around the 0.1% ?
Cause focusing on the top 6 is like the 0.0000000000001%
I think it depends on what level of the game you’re playing at. I find holy more powerful and safer to use than discipline in heroic and Mythic 0 or 1 instances. Its a mistake to balance for the top end exclusively.
