Can different characters have different looking houses?

I heard something about houses being warbound… and I’m concerned this means we will have to have the same exact house, interior and all, for all our characters

I want my death knight to have a very different looking house then my evoker. Wanting one character to have a dark goth house, another character to have a draconic themed house, and a another character having a light themed house shouldn’t be too much of an ask

You can get one house in the Alliance neighborhood and one house in the Horde neighborhood.

And then all of your characters can go to either house regardless of faction.

But that’s it. Two houses, account wide.

For now.

Unless they give us more neighborhoods or stop with this neighborhood nonsense.

I’m right there with you.

I think what we’ll have to do is have rooms/bedrooms for a handful of alts, per house. You’ll have to decide on the decor of the common areas like living room etc, and then once you put walls up and make rooms, THEN you can decorate each room as you want.
Not ideal, but what can you do.

I was hoping we would be able to have a house per character as well, with maybe something similar to how the DF dragons are. You go into your house with your main, decorate it and save it, then when you log on with your next alt, you have a drop down to either pick your mains house, or start from scratch. Kind of like how we go to the rostrum of transformation, except our house IS the rostrum and each alt just has to log in, go to the house and click on their name or title or whatever for the drop down and boom, the house loads in.
That was my hope anyway, but alas, it is not meant to be, so a handful of alts will be boarding together. /shrug

I think a reasonable solution to this would be allowing (perhaps through unlocks or purchasing) the ability to save multiple interiors for the same house.

Then, let me set different interiors to different characters.

I’m sure this won’t be there at launch, but it would be a great addition.
