-Hounded 24/7 for having to passively defend civilization from literal barbarians lead by a sadistic rotten she-elf and her sycophants
-Lost Teldrassil
-Lost Theramore
-Losing in raiding
-Losing in PvP
-Racials not on par with horde for what? 6 years now?
-Warmode? Oh you mean Hordemode.
Life of alliance is just suffering. It’s completely unhealthy for the game. I know you guys are greedy as hell nowadays so just imagine the faction transfer cash if you gave us some goodies.
No. It’s fine as is for the most part. Just add a PvP vendor either this expansion or next expansion so that people who mainly play WoW for the PvP won’t have to raid to get gear so they can compete. Back in Wrath, they had resilience, and while it was far from perfect, it helped prevent raiders from dominating PvP aside from legendaries and piece sets.
Bit off topic, but I think trying to turn wow into some MLG esport and completely separate PvE and PvP created longterm damage to the game.
PvP is a minigame along with going out in the world and doing things bridges the gap between raid nights and allows a more healthy, memorable and vibrant game.
Lost Theramore? We lost faction unity, and are on our fourth warchief and second civil war since Wrath. I’d rather lose Theramore.
What is Blizzard supposed to do about high-end players migrating with each other, short of allowing cross-faction play?
What are these Horde racials that are so dominating that Alliance racials simply can’t compete? My favorite racials are all on Alliance, but I simply do not like the Alliance.
What is Blizzard supposed to do about Warmode, short of making it red vs blue rather than Horde vs Alliance?
While we at it, Blizz can you make sure Kawhi doesn’t team up with either Lebron on the Lakers or Durant on the Nets next season since the OP thinks you can control how people migrate.
Looking back @ Warcraft II, it wasn’t ever one-sided. The Alliance was just as vicious to play against as the Horde. I think the two possible problems are that it’s perhaps easier to make a story as the Horde as the attackers/bad guys; and, that perhaps Blizzard is truly bias.
Either way, look at the results: it’s a one-sided situation.
Why do we have PvP templates then? Why does PvP have completely different talents/abilities? Why does PvP have a completely different form of itemization?
They’ve tried to balance PvP for a decade and a half now, it just doesn’t work at the level people want it. Balancing an MMORPG completely around a PvP minigame just flat out doesn’t work and you should probably play a fps and br.
Arena is dead, nobody really gives AF anymore and it’s too hard for the normies to get into.
Don’t feel like spoonfeeding but the only time alliance has had an upperhand on par with the horde was with EMFH and 2 trinkets which was quickly nerfed into the ground.

You forgot Southshore. I’m still mad about that one.
… because it’s an entirely different playstyle from a raid. Why do you think I said they have different teams that work on each type of gameplay?
Please show me where I said anything about balancing the entire game around PvP. Actually, show me where anyone said that at all.
That’s not even part of this conversation.
But if you want to make it part of the conversation… guess what helps them to keep focusing balance on each part of the game separately? Having separate gear types and stats. Shocking, I know.
Yeah, never implied you did. If you just toned down the snarkiness a bit and thought this through you’d realize that in order to Balance something in PvP it would effect PvE and vice versa. This has been a huge issue since the game’s release. PvE has been the main focus of this game, as it should be as a MMORPG with PvP on the side and just realizing it will never really be “balanced” because the nature of the game genre itself.
