Such a stupid and terrible “mechanic”. Trying to use the prepatch event to level but its literally just gray mob after gray mob the second they spawn.

I pretty much just target elites and any others that get tagged are a bonus.

Well that’s not his point. Cross faction grouping for raids and mythic+ is possible, so an intentionally farmable catchup mechanic shouldn’t have tags. It’s petty, true, but his point is valid. Seems like a troll on Blizzard’s part to essentially make it open world pvp, except fighting for tags.
The tokens are account bound I think. Just swap to the other faction OR group with a tank, have him stand middle are from 3 or 4 nodes and then have dps camp the nodes themselves and pull mobs to him. Horde figured it out early. Alliance of Sargares and Stormrage…not so much. Total crapshow. I know people waiting que for the dungeon haha. Wtf, over…
Worked for my alts. From 50 to 60 in about two hours and with enough essence to fully gear up.

Strangely enough whenever I log in the other faction is swarming the area. Which is strange when I switch characters & factions in the same zone.
It’s 5 person tags, faction tagging is dead outside of WM

It can be irritating, agreed. I just stick to the Elites which do not have the tagging limits. Makes it pretty easy, and they give lots of XP so make alt leveling fast.
