I can’t figure out where this enemy champion is. I just channeled the conductor to Dreamsong Fenn, and there’s supposed to be a enemy champion there to fight. But after going to Dreamsong Fenn, there’s nothing there. I can’t find anything special there. What is the deal with this Anima Conductor?? No guide I’ve read has been of any help in figuring out what to do now.

Should be a giant star on your map & mini-map pinpointing their location. They may have been recently killed and need to respawn.
More importantly, just be certain to use your Anima Conductor every day as after 10 days you can permanently empower an area.
That’s what I thought, that maybe there would be something on my map or minimap to clue me in on what next. But there’s been nothing. Despite me saying in my OP that I “just” activated the AC, I actually did so several hours ago and I’ve kept a close eye on the map since then. There hasn’t been any indicator of anything to kill in the area for that time. One guide I read indicated that there would be an object to interact with that only those with activated AC’s would be able to see, but if that is the case, I can’t find it anywhere.
The only thing of note that I see is a “suspicious vulpin,” but I can’t interact with him.
I would try to help you more but I haven’t tried (and probably never will try) Night Fae. Im unsure if there are any extra steps needed for that Cov.
For Necrolords and Kyrian, the “Champion” was usually there when I ran to the pin-pointed location, or spawned shortly afterwords.
Im having this exact issue. Everything tells me there should be a star and some item to use but there is neither. Feels bad.
Npc is backstage of the Ampitheater and will spawn a “boss” play fight for you
I’m having the exact same issue. I went backstage to the amphitheater, and there was no NPC. This is broken.
that is something different than the Anima conductor.
Its a daily on stage. Talk to the fae to start it, you’ll fight a night fae person dressed as a raid boss.
I don’t think that is it because I was able to start that boss fight without having activated the conductor
If someone else started it the rare would still be up. If I get loot from someone else’s, ill hit it and leave it there for not-fae.
i pulled this directly from a wowhead guide:
Night Fae - visit [Dapperdew] at the Star Lake Amphitheater to summon one of several fights. If [Dapperdew] is not selectable even though your Anima Conductor is pointed toward Dreamsong Fenn, logging and returning will usually clear the problem.
I found it and killed it about 6 times… I can see the seed drop but I can do nothing with it… anyone else having this issue?
You could say he may have stage fright…
I am having the same issue. Nothing shows up on my map. When I go to the Amphitheater there is nothing to click, no NPC to interact with, no Dapperdew to talk to. What a waste. Hopefully they fix the issue soon. There have been a few maintenance days since this thread was posted and it’s still going on. 
Need to talk to the fairy to make it spawn.
Bugged for me as well.
