I really like the fast swings of SMF and think Annihilator compliments the playstyle more than raging blow. How badly would I be setting myself up for failure by running this instead of TG?
SMF is spending talent points to do less damage.
I guess because I don’t have a Warrior max level / geared I don’t know how bad the discrepancy is. I don’t aim to be the best player in the game, but I still enjoy winning and have more fun when I feel strong than not.
I know you invest more to get SMF and Annihilator just to lose stuff. After all you HAVE to talent into raging blow, even if you take Annihilator and lock yourself out of it. I guess I just want to know how large the chasm is between the two playstyles. Will I be worse off than a TG fury? Sure. Will it be game changing? I don’t know.
SMF Annhilator plays way too fast, was the problem I was running into. 49% haste during enrage was making my keyboard an exhausting effort.
The annihilator build is the best and the difference between SMF and TG is pretty small I think.
Haven’t really tried SMF since SL tho
I’m sure it’s probably fine, but if you plan to play with LFG you might get rejected.
SMF is like 5-8% less damage thsn TG you can play it if you want its not a relevant gap difference to care.
so if u wanna punch people punch em
Wait, even TG players take Annihilator instead of Raging Blow? That’s shocking to me; I thought Raging Blow would’ve been better tbh.
I guess I’ll just have to learn to live with the rejection haha. It sucks, but man I’ve been craving some fast-paced Fury warrior action for a while and if the disparity isn’t super bad, I think I’ll roll it anyway. I feel like I’ve been playing specs that I haven’t really enjoyed for a long time and want to get back to playing what I think is fun, ya’know?
Thanks for the feedback!
its not a huge disparity. you’ll do a little less damage but a little less of a lot of damage is still a lot of damage
Yeah, it’s not like the spec itself is in shambles where you have to take every advantage to even hope to compete.
If I have to eat a 5% damage nerf to have more fun and mog stinkrot smasher and slap people around like I’m Rolf well that’s a sacrifice I’ll just have to make.
