We are obviously in a very different timezone to the continental US, and a fair amount of our playtime can be dark. But for some reason a couple of years ago the Jar of Sunwarmed Sand was hit with a 24 hour cooldown.
If there is any logic in this situation, I’m flubbed if I know what it is. For goodness sakes, what does it matter if a player wants to use it to stay in the sunlight? If they don’t want to reduce the cd then make it last longer, at least 12 hours so we get a decent amount of light in our playtime.
Sure, we can go and buy the individual sands but that’s just a nuisance and expenditure that shouldn’t be needed. There is obviously no reason why this item can’t function in a reasonable way.
I get very tired of Blizzard making stupid decisions that benefit noone.

Isn’t there a Niffen potion you can drink to make it daytime with no cooldown?
Yes there is, and to make it (assuming your alchemist has the recipe and the various mats) you have to travel to that damned Altar of Decay. On the whole, its probably better to go to the Timeways and just buy a bunch of the sands.
If we have a toy that does the job with the click of a button, that’s my point.

stinky bright potion also makes it daytime I think
I have said it many times, make days 1 hour 10 mins like in FFXIV. Then players will never been stuck with night or day no matter which time zone they play from.
That is the potion mentioned in the comment above yours.
I’ll never understand Blizzard’s fascination with giving things like this massive CD’s, it’s almost like they love restrictions and CD’s and they have to apply them to everything to feel happy or something lol

Last time we (Oceania gang) asked for communication from blue they did post soon after… to notify of a change in pricing.

Logically, the Jar of Sunwarmed Sand should last for 12 hours with a cooldown (if it really needs one) of about an hour.
