Can Amazon fire TV be used as a gaming monitor?

I am in the market for a new tv that can also be used as gaming monitor

You want to use a USB stick as a gaming monitor?

No… Amazon has their own TV monitor that has the Amazon prime built into the tv but just wondering if the hookups allow for hdmi

Just… look up the tv…

Things to I would look for TV for PC gaming.
FreeSync/GSync compatible. 120Hz or higher. DisplayPort connection.

I use a 27inch, 2560x1440, 200Hz, GSync monitor. If I used a TV I would like something close.

I do this. Amazon Fire TV is my base monitor, and I switch between the tv apps when i’m in between activity.

It’s pretty dependent on having Internet to function, but its not completely disabled when wifi isn’t present. You can swap between HDMI slots easily enough so even having multiple devices connected is doable

whats the point of all those hz if human eyes only see in 60 fps

Anything’s a monitor if you don’t care about fidelity.
Play WoW on your smart fridge, there’s no law against it.

It makes you more L33T, obviously.

any tv that using hdmi can be used as a monitor but at a cost of latancy

and have a chance of the tv flipping the screen upside down lol when you watch tv lol

SWEET!!!

Anything that has an HDMI can be used as monitor
