Can a simulator?

Like Mr.Robot and such…Can I use them to see what gear I need to get to a certain stat % value? I want to be able to put in, “X% Haste, X% Crit, X% Mastery” and have it show me which pieces I need to get there?

Probably! You may need to make it but I’m certain it’s just a matter of:

  • Getting the most recent database of available gear and compiling it into something that can read/recognize the individual stats,
  • maybe get it to sort by item type and class,

And idk maybe just pick and choose some highs and lows from there? There’s a buncha sorting processes you’d have to do to get that info on paper and uh

I dunno how to code
I just look at plants and buildings and draw crap

Just remember the caveat emptor implicit in all simulations: The map is not the territory.

That’s not something sims are going to do by default.

The reason they won’t do it is that there’s absolutely no value from knowing “What do I need for 24% haste” because there’s no inherent value in having 24% haste for any, maybe even all, specs in the game.

You’re basically never aiming for specific amounts of each stat while gearing. That’s just not how modern WoW gearing works.

So what you mean to say is that you don’t know what I am talking about, and that also no, bots can’t do it. AT least not easily.
