Can a new level 50 hunters in legion still acquire Hati?

Is this possible, is there somewhere that a new lvl. 50 has to go to start the quest?

There is a walkthrough on WoWhead. You can still do the questline and get all the rewards, but many of the novel parts don’t work anymore - like the essence swapper. You can still get Hati and associated skins though.

I’ve been looking for 2 days on how to get the quest “Spark of Genius” in the Shadowlands exp. and can’t find it. The only talk about it is for the the BfA exp.

I think you can still get it from the same spot in BFA, or failing that from the legion order hall. Mimiron keeps shouting at me every time I go to the scrap machine on my alt hunters, lol.

Been a while since I did the quest. I was on hiatus during Legion. I did all the Hati quests at the beginning of Shadowlands, so I know it’s still available. Just don’t remember the exact steps. I followed the Wowhead walkthrough and finished pretty quickly.

Guess I will try heading to BfA then. Very strange them forcing you into another 1-50 leveling area to get it.

Spark of Genius is only for Hunters that did the Hati questline in Legion and get Hati back, I believe. If you never did the Legion parts of the quest, you need to find the walkthrough on how to do all of that.

I just completed it, and this is just an FYI for anyone else wondering about it.

Like it was mentioned you get the initial quest Spark of Genius in BfA. However, the tuning for the subsequent part is bonkers and I think set for lvl 60.

You have to beat him down 2 times from 116k health to about 20k. Thank god there are npcs to help because he is firing 2.5k unavoidable missiles every 20 secs. When you are at lvl50 with about 8k health you just die.

But you can mount your flyer before you trigger the fights and fly into and out out of the combat areas letting the npcs slowly whittle his health down. The first one took around 15 minutes but there are 2 on the second one it it only took around 10. Once completed you get to tame 6 different skins of him which is nice.
