I am very close to unlocking Highmountain Tauren, but I’m wondering if I rolled a new Highmountain Tauren from level 1 to 120 would I be eligible to receive both the Highmountain Heritage armors AND the new 8.2 Tauren Heritage armors?
All the pictures I see and videos of the new 8.2 Heritage armors show only Classic or Regular Tauren models… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0TkX7z0_6k
Anyone know the answer? If I want this armor new 8.2 Tauren Heritage armor, I would need to make a Classic Tauren or could I make Highmountain?
no, highmountain have their own heritage armour
That would be cool if it worked that way, but pretty sure no… no it doesn’t.
- This would not be fair for any of the other players of other races…
Just imagine the sheer amount of forum drama… people demanding to be able to acquire the heritage armors of every race. - High Mountain Tauren are not Tauren. Two totally different races, regardless if they look similar or have similar ancient ancestry… That’s like saying Elves and Trolls are the same, even though they are both humanoid and are descended from the same ancestors… or same as saying Humans and Vrykul are the same.
that would be like regular Tauren getting the High Mountain armor, if you want the armor you’ll have to actually level the race it belongs to They are two different types of Tauren, just we call the classic Tauren instead of ______ Tauren.
Nope, HM Tauren are different. Have their own Armor.
The new Tauren Armor could of been much better had it resembled Bane’s eagle knee pads and outfit, what they get now feels like it’s lacking something.
I doubt it as I know for fact a Dark Iron Dwarf is not eligible for The Heritage Bronzebeard armor, only the DI HA.
ok makes sense, thanks guys, i prefer the horns of “classic” tauren anyways, was just thinking i’d go ahead and get both if was possible.
