Can’t log in after update

I’m stuck on “requesting characters.” And then an error message that there are no available characters. Think it may be trying to use an account under my BNet ID that has no characters. But account selection also seems to be not letting me switch to the correct account.

I’m having a similar issue. After updating the app, it now selects my secondary WOW account and using the Account Selection screen to choose my main account does nothing at all. It continues to log in to the second account.

This is exactly what is happening to me as well. I can’t switch it back to my main account, it just reloads Wow2 no matter what I click.

After the update there is a fatal error since it’s a trial account. My main account for some reason is not showing and I cannot re-add. I have deleted the app, restarted the app, restarted the phone, tried to re sign in to the app. Nothing has worked so far.

I’m also having this issue. My main account is wow2 but the app defaults to wow 1 and won’t let me switch. I’ve tried troubleshooting and submitting a ticket and the GM said it sounds like a bug and to submit a but report and post about it here.
Hope this gets fixed soon because the app is unusable currently.

Also having that issue my Main ia wow2 and it auto selects wow1 any update on this?

I’m sorry that you’re running into this, but thank you for the reports! This was some fallout from some login work in the most recent release. We have the bug identified and a fix in progress. The submissions process can take a little bit, but we’ll get this release out to you as soon as we are able.

I have the same issue too. Whichever account I switch to it always logs to WOW 1. Also, I cant purchase anything at auction.

Same here. Keep getting a fatal error and the whole app crashes every time I try to log in (even on my non-trial account).

Grabs the first account in an alphabetical list even tho it hasn’t been active since Mist. Won’t let me change. :yawning_face:

Just got this response from a GM “Thank you for contacting us with your request. You would like to use the companion app. Im sorry but it seems the last update broke something and set the App to a random one of your WoW accounts and that cant be changed currently. That is also the reason for the Error since it selected an account without gametime.”

Still broken

Just give us an .apk, as EU I’d much prefer manual updates, I once got an update for a patch before the EU servers were updated, so it was incompatible.

Thanks for your patience on this issue. The fix is going live now. I’d expect Android devices to update fairly quickly, but of course it can take some time for the update to propagate worldwide. Apple has a bit more in-depth review process so it may take longer to update on Apple devices.
