As a demon hunter that went Ventyr that has the conduit which provides thrill seeker, anytime I hit a training dummy and back away off it it won’t let me exit combat and I even try shadowmeld and still keeps me in combat. I have to kill myself to get out of combat. Could you please fix this.

Same problem on my dk. Only way out I found was to log off. Silly bug that is even more annoying when trying to debug macros.
Found a workaround: Don’t hit the ‘boss’ target dummies; instead use the nearby ones labeled “Purity’s Cleaning”, if you’re Kyrian. I don’t know the equivalent ones for the other covenants. They let me leave combat the normal way.
May 2021 and this bug is still present. I’ve even exited the game 3-4 times and each time I log back in I’m back in combat with the tanking dummy in Sinfall.
What fixed the issue was just getting out of the zone, either by hearthing or flying to a different area.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Be Venthyr
- Use Thrill Seeker
- Hit dungeoneers tanking dummy

August 2022. This happens to me 90% of the time on the training dummies in Maldraxxus. I even portaled to the other side of the zone and back. Has blizzard ever responded to this? I play Protection Warrior.
Febuary 2023, still an issue. Can’t debug my execute WA because of this silly bug.
Why is this still an issue, is blizzard run by bots now? Its terribly annoying i have to go to another zone to get out of combat.

This is still an issue. ill hit a training dummy in Val, cant escape combat no matter how far i travel. Can’t mount, can’t change specs, armor, or anything. This has become a big problem and they need to fix this asap.
+1 happens to me on certain toons 100% of the time and dont know why
November 2023, still an issue in Val. I have to logout to remedy this.

Still an issue Dec 2023. Are there target dummies that don’t make this happen? I’ve only used the Valdrakken ones.
