Gets you gone for Zone Disruption, don’t do it. Only mob you can use to complete the end-quest, so you can’t camp it for a length of time and prevent the other faction from getting it.
Some nasty people that don’t belong in an MMO are learning about this after camping Saba-tok for 2 hours+ and pulling from off-server to keep doing it.
You see people doing it, report them via right click report > cheating: zone disruption, not letting horde complete the Assault: amathet Advance by camping Saba-tok the only mob you need to complete the assault that you can’t kill anywhere else.
Its not zone disruption because you’re in War Mode. Matter of the fact is you can turn off War Mode to complete the quest. You don’t need to be in War Mode to finish it.
Alliance are camping it. Get a group and kill them.
Again, false. Since they’re camping the mob and tagging it and not letting others do the quest it falls under zone disruption. Saying that is like saying “Lol you can go to another server/server transfer to complete the quest” to every other zone disruption problem. It’s false in the face of the rules and reports.
It says if they’re preventing you from playing the game, (for instance, by crashing the server) you can report them for Zone Disruption.
They aren’t preventing you from playing the game. This article here, PvP Harassment , states some of the following:
If you find yourself a victim of being camped, continuously being ganked and can’t play the game, or a player of the opposite faction is killing NPCs…
The Game Master staff will not intervene in Player versus Player (PvP) disputes. If you do not wish to engage in open world PvP combat in World of Warcraft, disable War Mode.
Go to open a ticket, write in zone disruption. Read the zone disruption policy. it specifically states mob camping for quests. Read: Camping NPCs. Your little article says ‘killing NPCS’ which refers to quest-givers, and doesn’t refer CAMPING. Killing is allowed, camping is not. You can stop replying here now trying to drive this thread off-topic.
You have to look at the context at which this is being said and how this refers to War Mode. If you’re in War Mode, you can kill those players who are camping said NPC so that you can kill it. If you’re not in War Mode, this still doesn’t really matter because there is no faction tagging.
It’s referring to the scenario that, let say you’re leveling an alt in a low level zone and need to kill some gnolls. If a group of people are one shotting the mobs, preventing you from getting a hit in and are doing this just to be jerks, then yes, that’s zone disruption.
I’ll link this again, PvP Harassment . The Game Master staff will not intervene in Player versus Player (PvP) disputes. If you do not wish to engage in open world PvP combat in World of Warcraft, disable War Mode.
Yes, you are. Spamming a thread with falseties and attempting to derail is just that. Just like camping an end-quest mob and not letting anyone else get a tag on it is violating zone disruption policy. If you want to test that theory keep going.
No one is spamming a thread with falsities and no one is derailing this thread. You’re in the War Mode and World PvP forum. Again, read the guild name.
