Sometimes thats why being nice is better because they either aren’t smart enough to know you are being condescending, which feels great. Or they get more upset that they aren’t riling you up, which feels equally great.
Nobody is forcing you to play.
Isnt LFR used to learn fights so you can prepare for the Normal /Heroic versions ? I never understood the notion to timegate it . .
I don’t mind weekly chores but I want them to give me something worthwhile.
I do weekly chores in SWTOR because getting exalted with a faction unlocks cool decorations for my house and gives me a currency that upgrades my gear. So it has a practical and fluff reasoning.
I’m not sure what the point is of getting renown 20 whatever with these factions in DF.
I want to, but the systems basically hold wow hostage for me. Basically feels like I have to play nice with a troll who spits in my face any time I have to touch a system in WoW. Or a troll who pretends they’re not … by doing enough pretend half measures to gaslight.
Blizzard has sent smoke signals that they are dying on the proverbial hill for some systems I refuse to engage with, so I 6 monther’d ffxiv.
So yea I just play FFXIV.
Sounds good.
So far, it’s toys and transmogs the more I renown. Occasionally a mount
Ya I hear you.
Gold making has become less enjoyable for me but it has been the main thing I do now . liked fleshing out professions but with this system that all has gone down the drain. If I had friends to run end game with Id be less sour but I can relate and can only say its better to do something you like and not torture yourself so happy ff14 ing …
I doubt that this team will turn it around but Im always open to being proven wrong.
That’s not how it worked for the last 29 months?
The sheer entitlement of the laziest players is astounding.
I wouldn’t call people lazy when you can barely outlaw rogue with 38k dps at 414 on normal…
Sucks you can only get one of each though so unless you wanna regrind it again with alts or collect all the currency you need to buy them with your main it’s a pain in the butt in a way, at least in my opinion, it’s also far less rewarding than previous expansions because the bonus rep bags are trash and give very little incentive to keep grinding the rep after you cap it out.
Well, I have hundreds of toys, mounts and transmog.
So take mounts for example. I’m 150 over the highest achievement. It took Blizzard like 6 years to go from 400 to 500. Since I’m at 650 (ish) then I’m good for another 6 years.
I’ve already been burned and moved off things multiple times by timegate, and will not bend myself to fit around systems like lockouts.
This just proves that casual players are super entitled.
This only proves raiders have first choice and casuals are the least of their problem, besides who would carry the casuals in lfr if they are busy doing their high end raids in normal etc? Can’t do both without burn out.
It’s not even remotely an issue that it’s locked behind the raid. That makes sense.
But it’s just being bad people to lock LFR out for so long. There’s no sense in this what-so-ever. It just makes them look like they don’t like those of us that do LFR, like you want some petty punishment or something for us.
This way, we’re able to deliver the content to all without spoiling it for players who want to experience it chronologically.
I don’t particularly care about the lockout myself, but I doubt this decision is going to be popular with the overall playerbase.
Considering it’s going to be an entire month before Sarkareth hits LFR, it probably would’ve been better imo to simply include a pop-up when attempting to accept the quest that displays a message saying “It is recommended that you defeat Scalecommander Sarkareth before accepting this quest.”
This is really offensive and a complete disappointment to solo players. I just went ahead and cancelled my subscription. Blizzard has made it very apparent in this entire expansion that they only care about raiders and mythic players. People who don’t have the time for all that group content, it’s obvious Blizzard devs do not care about or prioritize our play experience. This really is like a middle finger straight to anyone who can’t or doesn’t want to raid.
I think when ZM came out, they introduced a skip, where you just talked to Mograine(?) and asked him “what happened”, and he showed you the raid cinematic for Sylvanas.
You are playing a massively MULTIPLAYER game.
Yes. Massively multiplayer game. Not massively raid game.
There are more multiplayer aspects then just raiding
