Hello guys,
I am a new player to WoW, coming over from FFXIV, so it’s possible that my feedback may have misunderstandings. However, I’m hoping this allows devs to fine-tune new player experiences, if my feedback is correct.
Dragonflight
Problem: Campaign quests do not give sufficient EXP to get to the current max level of WoW [Level 70]. Ends abruptly at Level 38.
Context: I created a new Retribution Paladin as my character for Dragonflight. From level 10 I chose the DF timeline via Chromie, and have now reached level 38. But, now at level 38 it says I must, “Reach Level 70 to continue the Campaign”.
This means that I must find alternative ways to get to level 70, from level 38, just to continue the campaign story that I was really enjoying… This does not feel like it’s streamlined correctly, with this large of a level gap. But, maybe that’s because I am used to how main quests work over at FFXIV.
Is this a common occurrence with all WoW campaigns, or is this an oversight?
In my opinion, campaign quests should take me all the way from level 10 to 70, with some level-filler in between (maybe like a 5 level gap in between campaign chapters). But, having to wait until level 70, from level 38, to continue the story feels very… off.
