Camera speed when turning

Whenever I turn my characters using the keyboard (currently set to ‘A’ and ‘D’) the camera speed is often REALLY slow when I log on.

For it to be fixed I need to relog on the same character.

Not sure what the issue is but it seems to exist as of this past tuesday. I didn’t have any issues during Early Access of Official Launch on Monday

The TurnSpeed cvar is getting modified to 100 from the default 180, but I’m unable to figure out the source since AdvancedInterfaceOptions isn’t picking up what changed it. I thought it was tied to the vehicle that was part of the Voidstorm Special Assignment world quest this week, but I haven’t been on that quest in days and it still is occasionally occurring.

I’m beginning to suspect that this may have something to do with Scalecommander’s controllable Deep Breath. The issue only seems to manifest on or after I’ve played my Evoker with that spec, and your OP is on an Evoker. Perhaps tied to canceling it with the button again or a macro instead of letting it time out? I don’t have time to test further at the moment.

EDIT: I’ve verified this bug with both specs of Scalecommander and posted a new thread to provide the finer details. Evoker-specific issue. Scalecommander Deep Breath/Breath of Eons Maneuverability improperly setting TurnSpeed CVar to 100

Unfortunately it seems like the issue will occur no matter which character I log onto first for the day. I just logged onto my shadow priest and had to relog to remove the issue

Once the issue is triggered and any relog has occurred, it will affect all characters until you change the TurnSpeed CVar back to its default value of 180. It is a global setting, as most CVars are.

Use this macro /run SetCVar(“turnspeed”,360)
