After downloading and running the addon narcissus, which is really cool, my camera when my character turns does this snap back to my toon, as if my toon is no longer aligned with the camera. its quite annoying and feels as if my toon is drunk all the time when i turn. Heres an example i recorded. Camerasnap
I have uninstalled the addon, tried console commands, and even deleted my WTF folder. Still, the camera glitch continues. Ive tried installing dynamiccam too, nothing with that helped either.
Any help to restore the camera to a static form would be great.
Hi Qeroca
This could be something server side. I would open a ticket on it.
https://us.battle.net/support/en/help/product/wow/166/180/channels
Opened a ticket, got a response tried what they said, didnt work. Even reinstalled WoW. THEN i realized what is really going on. Check it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNWZEFPHQ6A
The camera and my character are not insync when i release the right mouse button. When i release the right mouse button my Character stop instantly, but the camera continues to turn for a split second. Causing it to miss align. pretty weird.
What did the support folk have you try? Did you try experimenting with those mouse settings in game like shown on the youtube? Menu > Interface > Mouse.
Is this occurring on all your alts or a single alt?
I am having this exact same problem, heck even my PC that never had the addon installed started acting the same way. I have the slider at max (fast side) and it still lags behind. Nothing seems to help.
After searching everywhere I found a fix. The addon Narcissus had changed the server side cvar settings and nothing done locally would fix it. I ran the following command in game and my camera came back to it’s snappy self:
/console cvar_reset
Hope that helps.
