Camera Locked while looking up

Somehow my camera angle is locked onto my character while looking up and I tried to adjust setting in the interface, nothing seems to help. Tried googling this topic found nothing helpful so far, tried all the /console reset command I can find still nothing changed.
I just installed WoW onto this new PC about 2 days ago, I tried disabling all addons, delete Cache folder, delete WTF files, UI reset, nothing worked so far.

As you can see my camera starts to zoom in on my character as it reaches ground level and it will go completely under my character until the camera angle is pitched vertically. In both video it shows how the camera angle behaves when the camera angle is pulled to max distance, but in the 2nd video(default camera angle) you will lose sight of your character when pitched about 30 degrees or more and camera does not zoom into your character when it reaches ground level, it just stay in that spot.

Does anyone know how to pull back the camera angle while looking up directly?

Have you tried disabling mouse hardware cursor in video settings ?

I have no answer but my camera has always worked like the first example and I never knew it could behave like the second.

Maybe it was some sort of add-on you had since you mentioned installing on a new PC.

That’s what I’m suspecting as well but I did try turn off all addons then adjust setting, nothing changed. Completely remove addons from the folder then fiddling with camera setting nothing works.

I just got back into Wow, finally getting it to run under Linux again.

I have the same thing happening as you, while I did not last time I played which was when I was doing the Shadowlands Beta test.

Besides having it do what it does for you, it goes into a weird “spinning” thing too.

It wasn’t anything to do with addons, as to why it worked normally before, nor am I using addons now.
