Camera Angles in SL Dungeons?

I dont have alpha and prob wont get beta access. Blizzard and many are not keen to my type of humor. So I am asking the testers out there how the camera angles are in the dungeons.

Tol Dagor and Waycrest Manor were big issues for many groups in BFA that I played with because of the camera angles and the stacking nameplates. I am wondering if the dev team is taking a better approach in SL.

I have several friends that play wow with only one hand due to disabilities. The camera angle has always been their biggest burden. I am hoping that its not that big of an impediment in SL but no clue as most of the dungeons seen so far look like they are outside.

Mechagon city was actually done well in my opinion and should be the sample for future indoor dungeons

even with 2 hands I think that TD and WCM are hot garbage simply for the tightness of corridors. SOTS to some extent too.
Give us some room, damn it.

Yea even w two hands it can get messy. I agree. Especially when you have quaking and sanguine to worry about.

Always fun to have the literal only corridor forwards be blocked off by 7 sanguines. It certainly feels as though they funneled us way too much. I understand some funneling needs to happen but it’s literally a straight line of corridors

From what we’ve seen so far, Blizzard appears to have learned from their mistakes. The trash zones so far have been spread out with lots of possibilities for skips (without a rogue) which also results in camera angles being excellent.

We have only been able to see the first 2 however.

I can only hope so.

Tol dagor was so buggy and broken and they had so many complaints and problems with it that I doubt they’ll make something like it again soon. You never know though, this is Blizzard we’re talking about

I don’t have Alpha but I’ve watched quite a bit of gameplay.

So far, your friends will probably love the following dungeons because of the Camera:

  • The Other Side - really just one corridor in the entire dungeon. Everything is pretty open other than that.
  • Plaguefall - Wide open
  • Spires of Ascension - No roof anywhere.
  • Halls of Atonement - Lots of open room.
  • Necrotic Wake - Open as well

Though there are a few up in the air.

  • Sanguine Depths - As much room as Cathedral of the Eternal Night from Legion
  • Theater of pain looks to have a lot of small rooms and halls
  • Mists of Tirna Scithe is really unfinished so I can’t really judge that one.

I love doing the last boss of Tol Dagor and not being able to see anything because the second your back touches some walls it zooms all the way in and you can’t do anything about it.

WoW’s camera is hot garbage and I don’t think a lot is going to change that outside of designing around it. Illy’G is also annoying as rdps because you are generally assigned to stand on a wall and, wow where did everything go?
