Dunno why but I thought that GDKP prices would have come WAY down since the server is so underpopulated right now.

Seems the gold buying is even more rampant than before?
You can run a lot of runs before you get something like that, so not the fact that a few rare items go for high amounts means nothing about RMT, most items go for minimum bid. Most of the RMT right now is in Anniversary where they don’t have GDKPs.

a 15k nelths tear is a lot less than i expected from an economy that is like 5 years old now that had unknown amounts of gold cloned onto it, considering how good nelth’s tear actually is in the context of the game

probably min bid. So 500g-1k. Which you could make in 30 minutes as a mage in era.

It wasn’t uncommon to see BIS items go for like 30-50k in GDKPs I attended in 2019 classic, long before Era’s current economy, so seeing someone say 15k for Nelth tear is crazy high kinda makes me giggle.

The economy on Era is fairly stable, nothing has changed here in years. There are actually a lot of people raiding just no one logs so you will not find much activity on WCL.
As for the GDKP you don’t need to do that, you can just join a guild ( I did ) and you can raid normally ( I am )
I have done 7 GDKPS ever now, and while they’re fun for a pug run, i would rather just raid with a group of people consistently and have a good time.

Era is full of swipers. Thats why its high. Theres so much gold in the economy now with no gold sink. it will be high forever

Idk it’s been my experience that the people who do SR are generally terrible at the game.
Like yeah, playing with the same group of people is nice but not if they’re bad

You can’t really compare a guild run which uses SR, to a pug.
Not everyone uses SR, there are tradional LC guilds and DKP (not gold) guilds.
15k for a Nelth’s tear is way down. I saw them go for 100k+ in the past.

nothing to do with swipers… the server is 6+ years old 
game doesn’t have enough gold sinks to keep prices low for this long
this may shock you, but 15k isn’t very much on a 6 year old server

Funny thing is the anniversary servers got rid of the few gold sinks there were, so prices should inflate on those even faster.
