I have the artifact weapon (warlock) but Calydus acts like I don’t have it. After reading a lot of posts about this very issue, why is it still bugged? Do the developers not know how to fix it?

I have a 45 warlock who is required to leap past an obstacle course using a demonic gateway she doesn’t get until level 49. The voiceover keeps telling her to use it. And I know that lower levels do get that button. So is it incompetence or deliberate?
