I actually have this problem with the blood elf forum portraits and the female undead one if they’re wearing closefaced helmets. I didn’t know Otielle was a female undead for months just because I didn’t read the sidebar.

Also it’s a more subtle announcement that I’m back in the game. And I mean, I’ve been wearing that outfit a long, long time. Needed to throw it in the wash.

Deal with the Scourge invading Quel’thalas
Fight a running retreat to Kalimdor and fend off the Legion
Return home to scour Quel’thalas of the Scourge
End up participating in ending the Lich King
Then fight your former allies and watch your second home get War Crimed by the guy you call Warchief
Fight against THAT nonsense
End up fighting the Legion again
Get kicked out of Quel’thalas because it turns out the guys healing you after you almost died from the Legion ended up being a cult
And then you almost get turned into a Ethereal because the cult you’re in decided to go dumpster diving between worlds.
Honestly, it’s a wonder I still HAVE hair at this point. And folks wonder why I used to be a Thistlehead.
