Naltharion is the next “Illidan Stormrage” while the Dracthyr are basically the Illidari. How one adores subtle repackaging. Speaking of Illidan, now that Malfurion is out of the picture… glimpses at Tyrande.
not really. Neltharion fell to the void Illidan still very much wanted to kill Sargeras after being corrupted by the fel.
OP, I see one flaw in your theory.
deathwing is dead and his corpse dismembered for trophies.
I really wonder what percentage of players actually follow all of this stuff, I’m the type of player that treats quests as yellow dots on the map and i hit Esc on literally every single cutscene and cinematic Blizzard make, i actually feel a little guilty about it sometimes
Neltharion and Illidan are hardly comparable, and the Dracthyr - much as I enjoy them - feel like more of an ars-pull than the Illidari. They also have no centralized leader anymore, and many feel pretty betrayed by or lost due to what they’ve learned about Neltharion since coming out of stasis.
Also, Malfurion isn’t out of the picture. Tyrande would wait for him for hundreds if not thousands of years; a temporary “separation” with him in Ardenweald while Ysera deals with stuff on Azeroth isn’t going to break them up any more than him taking fat nappies did.
She needs better taste in men, certainly, but they’ve never been shown to be disloyal to one another at any point. Elves lived a long time, love didn’t die that easily just because your partner wasn’t always with you.
But his head is on a pike held up by chains in org
You can’t very well lead when you DIED way back in cata… He’s dead gone and utterly evaporated. I know. My rogue still treasures his leggo daggers.
skipped like 90% of quest text in SL
I decided to read DF, and for the most part I’ve enjoyed it.
Not sure why i don’t care, i guess we’ve just been at it for so long that it’s all
When i play my favorite single player games like Red Dead 2 or The Last of Us Part II, i read every scrap of paper i find and talk to every NPC i can to get their backstories lol
Merely a setback.
Excuse me. Do not compare me to species with eyeballs.
Neltharion packed them in mothballs and literally forgot they existed the very instant he lost actual literal control of their minds with a titan artifact. They were still loyal. Devoted, even after 20,000 years in the cooler. But his control was no longer guaranteed and absolute so into the fridge you go!
Doesn’t seem like they’re setting him up to be a good guy. It seems like the paranoid actions of a burgeoning lunatic.
You bloody well know death is meaningless in WoW.
Technically, he fell and busted his chin and the Horde took it and the Alliance made a copy to hang up in their captital city too. Then his body disappeared into the maelstrom.
