It’s going to be Lothar, the Lion of Azeroth’s, armor and we are going to go through the history of Stormwind’s evacuation and reclamation through the second war.
It’s going to have the same Fuzzy Lion Fur Belt as Lothar’s/Varian’s armor.
The Gloves/Boots will be elbow/knee length leather with lion fur and metal arm/shin guards.
The Helmet will look like a lion’s head, lined with lion fur.
Maybe it will have have the lion/eagle from Varian’s shoulders. Lined with lion fur.
The cloak will be made entirely out of lion fur.
We will have to kill so many lions.

I’m at least 100% sure that both Human and Orc heritage armors are going to be freakin’ amazeballs. There’s no way they can make this be other than incredibalicious.

I’m expecting it to be reminiscent of the Stonemasons, rather than Stormwind Royalty.
Though I also expect them to reintroduce Anduin through this questline and wouldn’t be shocked if it’s him trying to reunite the Stonemason/Defias with Stormwind after his absence.

That’s why they’re doing it in Dragonflight.
The Bronze Dragons will help us go back in time to kill all the Stormwind Lions. Thus making sure they go extinct in the first place.
It’s a vicious cycle.

As cool as it sounds, I hope it’s not the kind of thing they go for, for a few reasons. First and foremost is that it wouldn’t be so well suited for most classes. We’ve already had that kind of thing happen before with the garrison stormwind armor. And both the dwarf heritage sets. Again, cool sets. But they just don’t fit most classes. Secondly it feels like it would be very similar to the warfront armor of BFA.
I had a third point, but it’s slipped my mind. I’ll add it later if I remember. Yeah I’m actually hoping for more of a set that is clearly stormwind themed, but not distinctly one armor type. Like they did for kul tirans and worgens. The other human kingdoms, appropriately.
I guess the middle ground would be to offer a few variations. Maybe as well as a regular chest piece, also have the option for a long robe type. Still heavy and ornate up top, but passible as mage or priestwear. There’s no shortage of cloth tier sets just like that.

Honestly, I don’t think they need to give Humans & Orcs heritage armor after the Warfront…
Night Elves… well, I still really want to acquire the set the night elves wore during the 4th war–the one from the original WoW cinematic.

I wouldn’t say they should never get one. Otherwise we’d have to apply that same logic to night elves and forsaken. But I am surprised they are getting it next. I had my money on draenei and trolls. Or pandaren! I guess they’ve got some story in mind for the questline, and given all the Anduin stuff I assume it’s to do with him. So that’s cool.
Dude, that set should have just been given to night elves right then and there. Not as a heritage set. Just as a cool thing to go along with the harrowing story. Like if you were starting the quest to fight back in darkshore on a night elf toon an npc just hands it to you and tells you to gear up for the fight. The night warrior eyes and skin were cool. It just would have been cooler to do it all while wearing that outfit.

I like this idea most. Although, I don’t tend to play humans, so this isn’t for me. I just hope the armor is visually interesting. Worgen armor I think could use a bit of desaturating and I would appreciate if the vulpera heritage sets had some hoodless head pieces.
I hope humans get a some sort of wide cloak, maybe 3d similar to paladin tier chest from sepulcher.
Halakh the Lifebringer’s reforged armor is a good example. He’s a paladin, but his armor would also look great for priests and mages
