We fight Xal as an end raid boss and she goes, “Enough! I do not have time for this!” then teleports away and all the heroes are looking at each other like, “How could she have gotten away? Where did she go”. Then Khadgar steps out of his arcane wheelchair and says, “I have an idea where she is…”.

Noting this here for the far future to see if I predicted how the story is going.

I’m sure we’ll be chasing Xal’atath throughout the whole World Soul Saga, before we finally get to kill her in the final expansion.

I still think the Old Gods are going to make a return. There’s too much history there and it’s not fair that 75% of them weren’t involved in the main story up to now (Rip C’thun, twenty years too early).

I’ve got a feeling that she’ll be “harbinging” this until The Last Titan though.

We are going to be so tired of Xalatath that killing her is going to be like flipping your pillow over in the middle of the night.

while I love the “arcane wheelchair”, I’m not ready for Prof X status quite yet, but I agree it could be a Marvelous story.

I could see her just disappearing for the rest of tww, perhaps hints to where she is, but otherwise no real screen presence. Only to make a return in midnight.
