They can’t even be bothered to put in a graphic for Mind Spike. There is no way they are going to do visual upgrades any time soon.

Holy is not getting good visuals either.
Empyrean Blaze and Divine word do not have any kind of visual effect when activated which is not only lame and boring but also hard to detect when the spell is active.
Holy fire use a vanilla animation.
Power word: Life does not have any kind of animation at all.

I don’t even care about visual revamp! Just put in animations for the abilities we have! There’s like 3-5 spells with no animation! Why do they hate us?

I was being hopeful that the animation was hidden in one of these beta builds, but looks like we will have to use our imagination for the spells. I remember going all of WOD and MOP with that pink 
as the mind blast animation. Uh mess.
Empyrean blaze should be an easy slam dunk.
Also how does holy word serenity not have a really cool animation on the target?
Mind spike definitely should have the old animation back. I think Devouring Plague is another ability, as a key spender and thematically, that should have a good animation.
Looking at how flashy every single evoker spell is, they clearly CAN do it.
They snuck in the Mind Spike animation today.

I haven’t played s priest in as long as I can remember and I grinded one 60-68 yesterday and thought this was really weird. Mind Spike sort of just…happens? But there is literally zero indicator that it did besides the damage that results.
