More and more people are calling it quits with SoD. Our guild has people dropping like flies and we had a nice Naxx core just three weeks ago.
People are dropping like flies from Classic Fresh as well.
My thought is Blizzard are purposely trying to tank SoD and KNOW that Classic Fresh will dip hard.
Why??? Well the new expansion of course.
Everything in Classic WoW has been strategically placed in order to get people to buy the next expansion.

The classic community is the worst in all of gaming tbh. I feel bad for the devs and they are fully righteous if they hold a special, scornful hatred for the people on here. It’s like trying to keep toddlers happy.
These “gamers” act like they are here against their will and the devs have some obligation to feed them their dopamine because they peaked in highschool and will never, ever, feel that feeling of happiness they got when they were 14.
To the sod devs - Classic is a very tricky thing to approach. The game is over TWENTY years old. Minus some things here and there, SOD was an overall success. Thank you for the past few months of making classic interesting again

Looking back, SoD was amazing. Hope they keep bringing this kind of energy in the future. I’ve been leveling some classes I never tried and reminiscing on previous phases a bit. Was running through Ashenvale when BFA popped. Not everyone loved that event but I did. We had some epics battles on Chaos Bolt.
The biggest win for sod was the classes. Say what you want but at least raids aren’t 80% warriors 15% healers and 5% other classes
What expansion? If you mean war within we already have it free if you bought warwithin, MoP is free too.
All these pathetic grown az whiny Kardashian drama infused dad gamers on this forum needs to just give up gaming.
SoD has been a net positive experience for most of us and it is natural that a seasoned game will come to an end. If you decide to quit the game because the raid is too hard for you, fine. big W to the dev’s for SoD
The raid being impossible as 20 is one thing, them allowing 30+ pugs to clear it while guilds are hard stuck in prog has completely ruined the phase for my guild.
We have been working at it as 20 most nights that we raid, and have 7/8. It’s been a challenge for sure, but definitely not impossible.
I’d say it’s been a perfect balance
