Calia is Queen now apparently

Yes. And given that he was a King who wanted us all dead to raise back as mindless minions without free will the revolt was worth it. And the epic loots.

To be fair, it didn’t abandon the Forsaken because it was destroyed (unless you want to count Arthas which a lot of people here don’t.) long before the Forsaken became a thing. Between Arthas returning as a DK and killing his father, and the Forsaken becoming a thing you have.

-Revival of the Cult of the Damned
-Killing of Uther
-Genocide of the High Elves and revival of Kel’Thuzad
-Destruction of Dalaran
-Summoning of the Legion
-Legion invasion of Lordaeron, then Kalimdor
-Arthas traveling to Kalimdor and convincing Illidan to use the skull of Gul’dan
-Arthas returning to Lordaeron and commiting genocide against the Lordaeron survivors of the Third War with Kel’Thuzad and Sylvanas
-Sylvanas breaks free of the LK control (you can debate if the Forsaken start here)
-Sylvanas tries to assassinate Arthas but is stopped by Kel’Thuzad
-Arthas leaves for Northrend
-Sylvanas frees Garithos and the two team up against the Dreadlords
-Varimathras sides with Sylvanas
-The Dreadlords are defeated and Sylvanas and Varimathras kill Garithos
-The Forsaken as a faction are officially created, and Sylvanas proclaims their purpose.

I took it to mean she is A Queen, not THEIR Queen.

/gag

Can I hire someone from the Alliance to kill Calia?

She was always a Queen, doesn’t mean she is Queen of the Forsaken.

Well no one is forsaken any more, the Alliance and Horde are allies.

And in all that time, Callia Menethil was alive and did nothing for her people.

She’s probably flagged as friendly to them.

She wasn’t queen though. Either Arthas was king since he was heir, or if you don’t consider Arthas king since he was a DK and was never coronated, neither was she.

Yikes.

It doesn’t matter if she wasn’t a* Queen. She didn’t do anything for her people as a member of the royal family. She was sheltered by Alonsus Faol who WAS freed from the Lich King’s grasp and thus she had a liaison to speak with her people and the capability to understand they weren’t mindless monsters and still she didn’t return to her people to lead them.

Terrible character, and DEFINITELY shouldn’t be referred to as a queen of Lordaeron now.

I can agree on this, my point was just that it isn’t as bad as you make it out. Especially since most of the Forsaken were all about their Banshee Queen anyway. It’s like complaining you were betrayed then crying to the person who sat out the disaster asking why they didn’t get involved. That and as a character she didn’t actually exist back then, that also played a part.

you are alliance. Of course you don’t. She is just another Baine apologizing just for being part of the Horde at all.

she gave up any right specifically in her quest in shadowlands, and the forsaken are being ruled by a council, she has no right, no power, and no one voted. It looks like more amateur writing work. Dragnflight is rife with it.

PRetty sure it was Metzen who made the changes in the first place.

  1. Don’t care.
  2. Beats being led by an elf.

She just said she didn’t want to be queen. That’s hardly set in stone lol

That’s how it works when you’re a figurehead. You get to reign, but not govern. Tourism gets boosted though

People generally don’t get to vote for kings and queens lol

Gross, he has that cult flag next to his name

when you give up your rule to a council, you secede any right to crown or office. A council puts things to vote before a decision is made. Silly comment.

Check your timeline again mate, Metzen was off decision making by Legion.
