So all Caged pets in my guild bank have turned into… Cages. Just Cages, no ID of what the pet is or how many you have, its like gambling to figure out what the pet is.

If you remove them to your bags they’ll revert to the specific pet that they contain. But if you put them back in the guild bank they’ll go back to the generic cage. So for now I’ve removed all caged pets from my guild banks until this is fixed. I don’t want to lose them forever like a lot of the stuff I lost with the last GB fiasco.

My personal guild bank is affected by this issue too…I have way too many pets in there to remove them manually and store them elsewhere…I am getting nervous about this especially after the unacceptable guild bank heist at the beginning of the expansion

same here - this is a problem we had in our guild in the past but it cleared up - now its back with the winter veil event - it seems to only occur with event pets at least for now - and they appear as cages to all members of the guild
This has been going on for way too long. Why are guilds being ignored by Blizz?
They are too busy finding other ways to destroy their own game. Like taking pets from MM hunters or not returning gold to people whose gold vanished from their banks. I guess the next step is to force paladins to wear clown suits and have herbs rot in the bank if not used quickly enough. Who knows? The game is getting worse in the last few years, with more bugs than a cheap apartment in south Florida.

1/24/25 - Still an unaddressed issue.
Almost the end of March 2025 and this still hasnt been addressed.
