The [Cage Key] that you can get from the drudger Penkle in Revendreth after the World Quest “[ A Stolen Stone Fiend]” will not open the cage next to him to let out Dal making it impossible to receive [Dal’s Courier Badge]
Yeah, this happened on two of my chars. I had this issue and swapped to another char to try it on and that char was also unable to open the cage, but aftewards I relogged back to the first char and for some reason I was able to unlock it.
I should also note that for my first char the key disappeared for some reason too but I was still able to unlock without it.
I went back after I discovered I could unlock on the 2nd char to try unlocking it again but no luck.

I’ve tried relogging on my character to no luck even with swapping back and forth 
Same thing happening here as well.
Have tried shard hopping, logging, disabling all addons, temporarily moving the Cache/Interface/WTF folders, still nothing.
Having the same problem. Was so excited when I saw the WQ was up.
Same. Spammed different shards, relogged… Man, I’m so tired of things in this expac that I REALLY want not working.

Yeah, I don’t know what triggered it allowing me to finally open it on my priest, but even now I can’t open it on my DH. I didn’t do anything different between the two chars besides switching to do the same WQ on the DH.
having the same issue, was unable to open the cage, tried it on multiple different shards. tried it periodically over the span of about 2 hrs and no changes. have been logged out for a little while now so will try it again.
update: still can’t open the cage, tried hopping through about 5 or 6 different shards and nada, tried deleting the key and getting it again, still nothing, tried deleting the key, killing edgar again, then getting the key and still nothing.
Still broken…please look into this!
Broken. Unable to get the cage open. Tried shard hopping and logging out.

Still having the issue almost in to January. Have tried everything.
still not working for me either.
Quest is up again, can confirm it’s still broken. Dont know if they’re going to fix it at this rate.
