Cache of Nerubian Treasures not rewarding Hero gear?

I though the weekly was supposed to reward Hero track gear. I just got Champion out of it.

No, with rare exception the cache from Timewalking weeks only givse Normal raid gear (Champion track). Mythic dungeon weeks are the ones that reward Heroic raid/Hero track gear.

That one gives a piece of champion raid gear. The quest for killing 5 Raid Bosses OR completing 5 dungeons.

The quest to kill Illidan in the Timewalking BT raid gives a 1/6 Hero track piece of gear.

This week the reward is a 610 hero track piece. Jan 14, 2025. I went over to ashran to check & there is no corresponding “Disturbance detected” raid quest for WOD timewalking as of this week that I could see.

No, there isn’t a WoD Timewalking raid yet.

It’s it’s Turbulent Timeways event, not Timewalking event.

There’s no Timewalking raid for WoD.

Only Firelands, Ulduar, and Black Temple so far, IIRC.
