Tinker huh.
If tinker is a rumor, why is 4.RF-4.RF flagged as tameable, but only untameable due to being too high of level?
Is this a precusor to the Tinker class? Maybe the Tinker will have the ability to tame all Mechanical monsters??

Why would the tinker be able to tame pets? If they were going to make it have any kind of pet or minion I would imagine they’d create it themselves.
Well… they can only tame Mechanical pets… like as in they hack them and take them under their control.
And then I’m sure; yes, they will have an arsenal of skills that involve creating their own things like turrets and robots and whatever.

I haven’t played in a while…but I remember you would collect abilities from enemies. And it’s like a side class–not part of the main content, as far as I know.
Since you’re talking about controlling mechanical creatures, maybe there’d be some sort of collecting/learning to it. And building. Would be a lot of fun as a side class imo!
maybe it would have a spec like a gunner class and thus why it would tame the pets. although in almost every game i’ve played this kind of spec/class usually does make their own pets or it comes with the class via spells.
maybe they want to utilize mechanical pets more though? i don’t really see many hunters using mech pets though maybe a mechagon gnome but rare af that i even see a mechagon gnome in general.
this happens all the time, there is always pets hunters cant technically tame until the next xpac, esp from later zones and dungeons. Nothing new here.
Goblin/Gnome-hunters can tame most mechanical monsters by default already.
Hunters can already tame mechanical pets. Mechanical pet is tamable. The puzzle pieces are lining up!
We don’t need a new class for that since it’s already in the game.
Gnome Hunters can tame mechanicals, and start out with a mechanical rabbit.
Hunters with Engineering can learn a tome that teaches how to tame mechanicals.

I wonder why an ancient MMO was able to properly implement a multitude of classes and a modern blockbuster can’t. Its not like the foundations don’t already exist.

This, Hunters can’t tame things higher than their own level, especially elites (Shadowlands has several 61-62 elites while we’re locked at 60).
