Me too. Somehow Blizz always manages to save their best work for the x.3 patch. I never thought I would live to see the death of Titanforging.

You guys literally don’t even know what type of system they might implement, knowing them it might even be worse lol.

Hopefully the replacement isn’t worse. I’ve wanted them to get rid of titanforging since Legion.

It can’t be worse. I’d rather have to grind 10,000 mobs to upgrade my belt 1 item level than have Titanforging in it’s current form.

How I am reading it, is they’re just gonna change the name and call it a day?

Ion specifically says the system is designed to “preserve item level.” I’m guessing they are replacing it with an upgrade system.

Well anything might be better than current titanforging, but I’ll believe it when I see it.

How can it be worse than 100% random luck?

Edit - He also says the devs want doing difficult content to correlate with getting the best rewards. That is A+ in my book.

Don’t hold your breath. They didn’t announce what they were doing instead of titanforging.

So where can i find confirmed 8.3 stuff? All i find with google is “leaks” and confirmation that a build has been loaded to the test servers, but the test servers aren’t active yet.

I really wouldn’t be too excited quite yet… He said it’s basically just being replaced in an old god way…

My current thought: it will upgrading to “Old God Forging” (insert better name) and will now add some special affect or something. Similar to all of the items in Crucible of the Storms.
