Fresh 60 Characters that don’t already have MC gear are too far behind in stats to be effective in BWL (particularly FR) and ZG doesn’t offer enough to compensate. Would it be possible for Blizzard to put t1 on a vendor to make it more accessible to fresh 60s?
Having alts or new friends joining has been heavily kneecapped with the raw stats that fresh 60s are missing from incredibly overtuned MC gear and creates an unnecessary hurdle where the ‘catch-up’ raid isn’t even good at being a catchup raid.
We bring an alt into MC and they walk out with a 6 piece set of T1. ZG exists to bridge that gap which it can help a lot but not everything they need will drop.

MC is not just a throwaway tier. Go do MC or ZG if you want to gear.
and even then, you can join a 40man BWL and plow through it in greens

press your buttons and/or bring more than 20 people. or dont do trials until your gear/competence is at the appropriate level
it’s tier 2. you have to do tier 1 to do tier 2.
that’s how it works. it’s in order of difficulty.
why do you want to do BWL when you havent done MC? do MC.

Non-tanks can absolutely blow through BWL - even the hardmodes - without a single piece of fire resistance.
You won’t be parsing on Firemaw but it’s doable.
Bruh, just do MC heat 1 and zg you will have a minimum of 4 pieces of gear at the end of the week, plus do dungeons for the Reals and get your t2 bracers all 3 world bosses give 3 reals even Ony gives you some i think, now if bliz lowered the FR for heat 2 and 3 so we can speedrun it it would be nice since people only need legendaries or off pieces like onslaught girdle.
Just do your .5 quest and that’ll give you a pretty solid set of gear. I don’t really see a reason for them to add tier 1 to the vendor, you’d be better off just running MC a few times to get it. If they added it to the vendor, I would want it to be no less than 125 reals per piece of tier, same price as tier 2 bracers. It’d let you pick up a side piece or two but keep the main upgrades acquired from raids at that cost.
between p4 raids, zg, and crafted gear it only takes like a single lockout to gear for BWL

Agreed. With the cost that Blizzard would need to set the tier tokens to on the vendor to make them reasonable enough to where its not invalidating old raids, by the time you farm out enough reals to buy them, you would’ve been full tier 1 in a handful of weeks.
