So last night my guild and I entered BWL for the first time. We were on our 4th attempt of Razorgore and improving each time to where there was only 1 egg left. We had about 25 players still alive at this point, the orb controller was killed and Razorgore broke free.
This was definitely going to end in a wipe however we were attempting to get into P2. What happened next was Razorgore legit just disappeared. I don’t believe he was killed by the ads because he basically instantly disappeared and there was no body, and none of our players died after that (I’ve read that when the boss dies everyone in the room can explode from the leftover eggs - granted there was only one left). One of our hunters feigned death here. (he probably shouldn’t have done this) The adds remained up still with Razoregore gone and 1 egg still remaining and eventually killed this hunter when he popped out of FD.
After this we were basically locked out of the instance. When we came back into BWL after the wipe the gate was locked and the initial adds on the ramp were back up. I’m not sure if it was cause our hunter FD? He was killed eventually and the adds respawned on the ramp. Also Razorgore was nowhere to be found.
Has anyone else seen this bug where they’ve gotten locked out?
We waited 30-40 minutes and it still didn’t reset. I checked a few hours later and it was reset. Still - kind of ruined our first night in since we were only about 1 hour into raid when this occurred.

did you try the reset instances button?
Seconding this, allowing the instance to reset and be recreated from your instance id’s kill flag (or lack thereof) should respawn him.
I did, did not work. We had a raid ID generated as well after this even though we hadn’t killed a boss.

“Aurora” on Atiesh Alliance encountered the same bug today. Last egg, mid cast on destroying and MCer died. Watch as Razorgore just despawns immediately, are the adds not supposed to kill him? We had a hunter FD during this and we got to re-enter to the gate still shut on us with Razorgore and the adds failing to respawn. We proceeded to wait 30 minutes to an hour and at this current point in time the gate is still shut and we are still locked out. We are also saved to this raid ID even though we have not downed a boss? Whats going on here…

If I remember correctly, if a class that has a pet clicks the orb the Boss bugs like this.
Here is another Video from the Aurora fight. My priest did not have pets and the boss despawned, there was no raid-wipe mechanic, and we were unable to get back into that room. This appears to be a bug that if the person mind-controlling the boss dies as the last egg is being broken it despawns the boss. I don’t know why, but Blizzard should fix.

Exactly same thing happened to us. And what’s funny is we had the same exact egg left as well.

This happened to my guild last night. A couple of us reached out to blizzard support and they aren’t doing doodley squat - just telling folks it will reset.
