BWL attunement concerns

With the launch of BWL coming closer (Early 2020) people have been starting to have concerns about how awful it’s going to be as an alliance player on a horde dominated pvp server to be able to kill Scarshield Quartermaster without serious headache.

Blizzard should seriously consider enabling this NPC to drop [Blackhand’s Command] before BWL is launched to allow players on a server where the opposite faction dominates the server a chance to get this item and the quest done before it becomes impossible for us when BWL is launched.

The last thing I want to do is have to roll into BRM with 100+ alliance players just to get this quest and have to wait there with our entire guild until each of us get the item.

Thanks, just a suggestion that I believe would seriously benefit smaller factions on pvp servers.

Given the nature of the relationship between Horde and Alliance at the moment, don’t expect to see any of the sign off on this.

Consider this tho, at least people on PvP servers can get some game play in at the mob, where as PvE server players will just have to queue (no pun intended) and wait for their turn.

If your guild has to do BWL the Tuesday it releases and you are on a PvP server, be prepared to corpse run to UBRS entrance and enter BWL thru the dungeon portal.

In before #NoChanges!

We’re more than prepared to do that, the point is we’re trying to avoid that by giving blizzard an idea of how to prevent mass complaints.

Considering that at the time BWL launched, WoW had 33% of the sub base as it did when 1.12 was released. Five million or so players didn’t start playing before this was already in the game, and they could do this quest at their leisure.

You can queue BGs instead. I saw a lot of posts recently from Alliance players saying #nochanges and all that. You will do bgs, we’ll do BWL.

Nothing can do that.

Sad but true.

I’ll still hope blizzard foresees this problem and provides a solution for it atleast during the launch week if nothing at all.

Sure, as long as they give a solution to Horde queues as well.

Writing this from an AV for which I waited 32 minutes to get in, and is versus a premade. Nice.

Can you take a nap please? Nobody wants to deal with someone like you.

Naps are 25 minutes queues though, sorry bud

It’ll be ironic when they have long queues after horde stop queueing to get their bwl attunement :joy:

There is a solution to Horde queues already; re-roll as Alliance. That’s it. As long as the demand for PvP is skewed heavily towards one faction, the over represented faction is just going to have to wait to get in to BGs.

And like I argued earlier, enabling the mob to drop the item now isn’t really a change at all, since was in the game for the vast majority of players when they started playing. If you Can even call it a change, it no where near the scale of the kind of change you’d like to see to alleviate queue times, which are faction transfers, and merc mode.

Honestly I don’t care about queues anymore, I’m doing stuff while in queue. I will do my best however to make sure Alliance on my server can’t do BWL until week 2 or 3.

Doubt it will get anywhere near as long as horde get though.

Oh there will be mass complaints about something regardless. Thats mostly what people use these forums for.

Kudos for trying though

They can do it day one as long as they can zone in to UBRS, so GL with that.

PvP problems have PvP solutions.

What’s the solution to 300+ horde players camping BRM and having to come with 200+ alliance to clear them only to have the server lock up due to “PVP SOLUTION”.

Off hours. Get as many people you can find to go when the servers are at low pop. Don’t try to seize an objective when your enemy is most prepared to defend it.
