So this just just an annoyance, a thing Blizz never seemed to get right until TBC and Wrath. In so many different places they specifically say that nothing in the game has holy resist, and no item is supposed to have it on it because of this. Drakonid types with elemental shield and Chromaggus, of course, resist it anyway. But worse, Holy isn’t included on their list of weaknesses either. I know to most people it’s not a big deal. And yes, I expect the lulret comments to be hilariously backwards and stupid. But come on, at least be consistent, Blizz. Don’t tell us one thing, when the system and a major milestone raid don’t line up. It’s just plain wrong.

EDIT: At least you can fall back on some physical damage, if the vulnerability isnt Frost/Fire/Arcane, I have 0 ways to deal damage at all, and you don’t see me on here whining about my DPS
If 0.001% of in-game content is not consistent with what is said, I’d say they are well within their rights to say it’s not a real factor.
Looks like you need to get a shadow and nature wand to swap to and spec improved wand.

Honestly im impressed a guild got to chromaggus with a ret paladin in the raid.

And it was in spite of your DPS contribution, not because of it. If they’re letting you raid it doesnt matter to them, though, so I wouldnt sweat your DPS numbers on these particular trash mobs/one boss.
I don’t claim to be top. I don’t even try. I know my limits, I just disagree with the game being inconsistent about them. Though, I did manage to tie for I think it was 2nd for cleanses during Chromag WHILE keeping up JoW AND still whacking at Chromag.
As a paladin on chromag, use seal of the crusader and spend all of your mana on cleanse.
Now you help your healers while still getting respectable autoattack damage in and refreshing a judgement.

That’s actually what I did. Ups damage a bit vs just running SoW, but keeping Wisdom judged meant I was high mana the whole time, even spamming Cleanse
