One of the big draws of the Classic genre to myself, is that there isn’t a sanctioned store that you can buy from to give you any real advantage.
Now there is. Struggling to get to 100 mounts? Feel free to buy some. I know there’s not a lot, but it kind of goes against a major draw/theme to Classic that you typically have to work for things.

Gold buying was a thing since the vary first days of og wow. It’s a thing in every game.
There has been stores for mounts since the start of wow in fact that’s where now came from.
What are you on about.
what store mount is there?
He’s likly complaining about the 6 month sub one they just announced but there is also the delux edition ones.
$155.88 or $79.99 each for one mount… i don’t know about this one chief

I’m sure they are too, thing is other players have a chance to go earn those without paying gold.
Original Wrath created the cash shop.
They took an Ulduar themed mount and made it for cash instead, setting the cash shop precedent for WoW.

They do, I saw both advertised today on Faerlina.
Never said it was ok or acceptable. Non the less it was a thing.
Your claim was there wasent a store to pay stuff back in the day. That is false as gold buying has been there since day one.
In game services for gold was also a thing back than so could buy anything in the game for gold just like now was just less common at first.
I don’t get why everyone is against blizzard making money so that people can spend a Normal amount of time in the game.
There is nothing inherently wrong with buying gold. Blizzard should be making the money not some 3rd party, is all.
You can buy gold, its bad but you can, or even make it.
You can then use that gold to buy into riads, so mount and achievement.
You can buy levelling to 80
You can also buy pvp/arena carries, Mythic plus (retail) carries for the achieve and mount, so it’s been around since classic.
Unfortunately.
Debatable, and not going to ge tk to that here.
What matters is the fact it did happen since day 1 and that gold could be used for anything in the game even buying glad or otherwise.
As such the opa claim of there was no store to buy stuff in vanilla is false.
You can’t ban someone for saying they bought gold without proof they actually did buy gold.
Yeah he lied and should be banned agreed.
You mention an advantage. Even if they get to 100 what’s their advantage?
