Which vendors sell easy xmogs with gold or honor marks? Is there a list. I just made a new toon and want it to look at least decent.

Look at your collections tab there is old Gladiator/Combatant/Aspirant sets from PvP a lot of them look super good and you just need 12 Marks of Honor to get them, use the Korrak’s Revenge quest to get a bunch of Marks and I think the PvP Brawl quest gives some too. Just can’t get the BFA stuff for mog sadly. Gotta google where you can find the old PvP vendors but for like MoP they’re on the Wall and WoD in the Ashran faction hub.
Most older content if you goto that capital city you can buy PVP Mogs. For example, Old Dalaran in the PVP area there are a few that sells the mogs for tokens. There are some in Tanaris by the arena thing that sells some

Look up the Cataclysm Tier vendors. I’m not sure who they are for Alliance.
Theres a tier set sold by the NPCs in ICC as well.
As Alliance you can buy a lot of the PVE gear in the Alliance area and various shops of Northrend Dalaran and in Old Town in Stormwind. You can get nearly full sets of any of the tier gear that used to cost marks or justice points.
There are a few vendors in Shattrath that sell transmog for gold.
In Mists the vendors are out in Ox Temple and on the Isle of Thunder for Tier 14 and 15 and Tier 16 is sold in the Shrine. You may need to grab some tier tokens for the Siege of Orgrimmar stuff though.
WoD didn’t let you buy tier gear at all so if you want PVE stuff from that expansion it’s best to farm some old raids.
Old raids are always a good option but it can be hard to get all of the pieces without doing it for a number of weeks. But anything prior to WoD should be pretty easy to solo if you’re looking for appearances.

not sure where it is for alliance, but there should be a vendor in SW (think between the castle and the flightpath) or on the walls in Pandaria that have some good looking PvP gear, and in old dalaran (northrend) there should be vendors in the alliance section.

You can get the WOD pvp season 3 - combatant and gladiator armor sets and weapons in WOD at Ashran island on the map - not the pvp instance -
i am wearing the hunters gladiators set atm minus the shoulder are hidden

For 110 immediate gear, I’d go to (new) Dalaran for their PvP sets. All of the Legion hunter sets looked pretty great!
Otherwise, if you don’t mind waiting till 120, check the AH for the Dragonrider pieces or other stuff out of island expeditions. Will be a bit more unique for your $

If timewalking is up, you can buy some filler gear with tokens, that’s usable as well. I used PVP tokens as everyone recommended and bought stuff off of the auction house.

there are some cool (though graphically dated) armor sets from classic if you’re leveling a new toon. A lot of them are either greens that drop and can be found on the AH or made from professions. You could go through the xmog tab, make an outfit you like, and then buy the pieces you need.
If your new toon is boosted there’s some cool sets that drop from island expeditions that can be bought/sold on the AH so you could buy those. Also some cool troll xmog greens that drop from isle of thunder and can be listed on the AH

It’s next to the arena looking thing in the center of Gadgetzan. There’s a vendor located next to it.

For PvP sets (Marks of Honor):
- TBC - Area 52, Netherstorm - In the house with two ogre guards outside.
- WotLK - Dalaran (Northrend), in the sewers, center area
- Cataclysm - Stormwind (near the target dummies/mount trainer/SI-7 building) or Orgrimmar (between Valley of Strength and Valley of Spirits). Some sets for some reason are also available in Dalaran (Northrend) and Gadgetzan, but you can find them all in Stormwind/Orgrimmar.
- MoP - In the Alliance/Horde bases in the wall. Alliance one is between Valle of Four Winds and Dread Wastes. Horde one is between Kun-lai and Townlong Esteppes. There’s icons on the map showing the places.
- WoD - Ashran, near the passage to the background area (road to north in Alliance base; road to south in the Horde base).
- Legion - Dalaran (Broken Isles), in the back of Alliance and Horde areas.

There’s a ton of really cool mog on the AH, too.
Here’s something I just found out even though mogs have been out for years. You can browse mogs in the journal and save outfits of things you don’t have!
Pick an item you really like that’s achieveable for you, build a mog around it, and go get it. I don’t think there’s really a shortcut. There’s just things that are easier and harder to get.
