Buying A Pre-Built Online. Need Sources

Finally got the cash to buy a massive upgrade from my current system. My 1080 screamed during a recent playtest. I used to build my systems but I’m just not into it now.

Give me a name of an online retailer that can build me a new, stupidly overpowered gaming PC that should last another 3’ish years.

Co-worker swears by Xidax and another says IBuyPower.

I went with NZXT, and aside from a bit of added difficulty with me being in Canada I’ve been really happy with it.

Find a local computer shop. ask them to build you one. Likely similar or better pricing, no shipping and local support if needed

The last local shop I put any faith in closed shop about a year ago. They built my current system and have been happy with their work and prices for almost a decade. To bad they had to bail.

Edit: I am the OP

Microcenter has some great deals if you have one near you.

Stay away from Dell/Alienware. They charge a lot and give you cheap parts. Like so cheap, your mobo will melt.
