Then you have the option to not use the ability or put it on your bars.
My playstyle (which is not a good playstyle, but it’s mine) means that I have 36 main keybinds:
NumPad 0-9 and + and -
Alt-Numpad 0-9 and + and -
Ctrl-Numpad 0-9 and + and -
When out of combat, I also use the top keyboard row from ` to =.
For motion, I’m almost always a keyboard turner, with some exceptions.
In order to play in a way that works for me, I have to use 95% of these keybinds almost all the time.
I’d be open to seeing fewer actual spells/abilities, so that maybe I could lose an action bar on my UI.
Taking an ability and not using it is worse then even taking a passive that doesnt sim as well, classes are balanced around them
Youll notice i said closer than they are currently, not that they are equal. Yes the optimal talents should still be ahead, but the easier talents should be better than they are.
Same reason why for the longest time feral wasnt taken to anything even though they were strong, community perception is one hell of a drug.
Logs show that youare indeed exactly average.
This is a you problem. Put more time into learning the rotations, and adapting your button mapping. Button bloat isn’t real, crying about not being able to hit the buttons many others can is real.
Please, you hit this once every 10 minutes lmfao.
Like i said, button bloat doesn’t exist. But lazy players do.
WoW forum comment of the year
Feel euphoric just reading it
Sounds complicated, what I do is create macros and mouseover macros and keybind them and use mod shift, alt, ctrl so limit the amount of keybinds and buttons I need to press.
Congratulations for coming to the same conclusion as the title of my post. And the very next sentence after you cut off the quote.
Enjoy the thread. You and Snozex will get along grand.
Nobody is pressing 50 buttons or even close to 30 in combat constantly, most specs have less than 10 button rotation, is probably closer to 5-6. Having to press cds, utility or defensives once every 2-3 minutes is not a huge deal.
Might not be a big deal to you, but doing average dps has become a big deal to me. Executing the Elemental spec has become too complicated for me, when in the past I played Elemental just fine.
so being old = stupid now? since when? You are suppose to be smarter and able to to use your knowledge to find a way to keybind properly compared to a kid who is not as smart as you.
So using age for your issues is dumb.
I’m in my late 60’s and yes I don’t preform as well as I did in my 40’s.

Performing well has nothing to do with your mind bro. You do not become stupid at 60 yrs old.
And if you think a 15yr old is smarter than you, then that is a YOU issue.

Lol! Yes my mental acuity has diminished too. My raid awareness is awful.

What are you struggling with exactly. In comparison to other dps specs and casters, it tends to be more simplistic.
Granted, its more involved now. But previous xpacs were proc button mash. Like SL, you quite literally mashed chain lightning and earthquake.
More often than not, you’d have back to back to back earthquake procs.
Enhance was very similar. Crash lightning, mash stormstrike because that had non stop procs lol.
Yet despite all those buttons, ele sham hits one spell like 60% of the time, and their entire rotation is based around finding ways to hit that one spell even more.
Op not having a common achievement means they are below average.
TBF, you, I nor anyone else in this thread has the statics for AOTC, you are guesstimating based on what you believe and also what you see in game, therefore you cannot actually claim not having it is below average, because well its unsubstantiated.
There is multiple reasons for the op not having AOTC, and they could still be the average player.
However, in YOUR opinion they are not, and that’s ok, but its not facts. And shouldn’t be argued as such.

You may not but I do.

Actually incorrect.

They arent good.
You may not but I do.
Really, so you have the statistic for the entire game and players, I find that hard to believe as no one knows how many subs there are and how many are even playing etc.
You can only have the statistics from tracking websites that rely on well players to either have an addon or upload logs, so no you do not have the statistics unless you work for Blizz?

The numbers were uploaded to reddit based on tracked achievments.

It tracks achievments. I also dont really care what you think.

Everything is automatically uploaded to the armory.
Reddit, where all good facts are lol
With the source showing the information from armory.
Like I said. I dont care what your feelings are on the matter
