Why do I keep seeing people typing a certain four letter word + [insert term here] in trade chat? Then there’s also that Did someone say blessed...bla bla bla one. Where did these originate from?

I started playing during mid-legion and you’re free to examine my armory to make sure all my achievement dates line up. I just bothered to ask about this now is all.
Originally was for people to say x ability/weapon etc… was so good, so OP that it would f you and anything else that way.
People replied making fun of that claim linking ridiculous stuff, over time it became a meme.

It is possible that the OP might have automatically, somehow, always muted the trade channel upon chargen, (a thing I tend to do myself), and somehow in the short time they were vulnerable to TradeSpam never came up against those two repeated offenses.
Unlikely, perhaps-- but possible. In fact, not even that unlikely.
If so, I pity the poor soul, to have finally been exposed to the… exposure.

Not sure when it started, but it’s certainly not new. Been playing since early Cata & people did it back then. I personally enjoy it & participate on occassion. It’s fun & a good laugh. Childish, sure. But who cares?
