Maelstrom Weapon is now learned at level 10 and has been removed from the Class tree.
Feral Lunge is now learned at level 14 and has been removed from the Enhancement tree.
Flurry moved from Class tree to the Enhancement tree.
Elemental Blast damage reduced by 25%.
The following talents have been removed:
YOU FORGOT TO TOUCH ENHC…… compares to the wall of txt resto and ele got.
I think they nerfed the healing surge ability that gave it a 25% bonus when healing yourself. I don’t see it anywhere for enhancement. That would be a huge nerf potentially destroying the spec. Imagine having to cast flame shock each time you want a bonus to your healing… yea, that’s how bad it is.
So either they nerfed it or overlooked putting it back on the toolbar description. Because all I see is restoration and elemental still benefitting from the bonus to healing self.
The elemental blast nerf is kind of funny. Now my biggest hitter will be outdamaged by one or two ticks from a hunter rapid fire…
Anyway, when I come home from work today, I’ll be playing my shadow priest. Time to stop pretending enhancement is viable in pvp outside arena. Oddly enough, spriests are probably the one class I could easily kill with my enhance

From a PVE persepective, did Enhancement (not Ench, Enh) really need big changes other than the defensive changes in the class tree? They seem very solid currently, so minimal changes seems fine.
it really didn’t besides prim wave / target cap being removed.
Shamans are worse than boomkins in terms of complaining.
I don’t think that asking for a more streamlined way of the class working is a huge ask when so many classes have 4-5 button rotations.
Honestly bake ice strike buff into the hailstorm node and that removes a lot of clunk for ele tree.
And remove 10 MW spending. It’s unhealthy. Rebalance numbers without it
That’s actually why I play enhance is bc of its busy rotation. So many classes have “easy” rotation nowadays. Its nice to have something complex to play for once.
It did, the class as a hole is a mess of proc based craziness, played it since vanilla and gave it it to join the pally squad.
Ah, sorry. I asked because I really only play Elemental and Restoration. I hope they make some enhancements beyond the talent changes to satisfy our melee brethren.

Whats a piece of garbage? Me because I chose a class I all ready play as an alt? I do not like casters, I have a DK that is my 2nd tank , I do not like feral or rogue and not into warrior? So please tell me what makes me a piece of garbage with MY 15$ a month and 20 years of expansions.
I have a very deep hate for rets and lose all respect for anyone playing that garbage.
Ret is the easy way out.
Yes, they need to address a lot of glaring issues. They managed to fix none of the issues with enh and not only nerf them but straight up make them worse on enh tree. This is amazing ‘rework’.
Cool, pay for my expansions and my 15$ a month. I have stuck by enhance shaman as a spec since Beta of WoW, If I want a change ill do it and I wont insult people for doing it. Every class in game has been OP at one time or the other, I chose ret because I was all ready geared out as Prot and was not hard to switch at the end of last season, well and I got the lego. Druid has had multiple iterations of being OP and is still one of the top healers for M+. Should we all look down on you for it?
The overflow of maelstrom is ridiculous, lets take away all those random procs by making a class that needs to just hit storm strike everytime its up instead of hitting one of the other shiny procs glaring at me for being wasted.
No visual updates either can you believe warlocks got new pets before we got a new acendancee model
Ascendance model change has to happen.
They moved it to the general tree. Which is a good change. But they left focused insight behind in the enhance tree. So enhancement shaman can take both now.
Which means healing surge will be balanced around enhance shaman taking focused insight. Which sucks. Particularly in PvP where enhance healing with stormweaver is already clunky as hell.
I’m hovering over the refreshing waters tooltip right now in the general tree. It only shows restoration and elemental getting the bonus when casting healing surge on yourself.
That node is (99.9%) going to be changed to flurry in the build today.
