There are no Nightborne Darkfallen because it absolutely does not make sense for there to be Nightborne Darkfallen. When the elves were being raised by necromantic magic, the Nightborne were still locked behind their magic walls huffing ancient mana. And the Night Elves were specifically targeted by Sylvanas to be raised into undeath, she did not go after her allies during that time.
The reason it makes sense for the Void Elves to have the darkfallen options is because the during the questline the Darkranger mentions “When we were raised, Silvermoon turned its back on us. We found a home here, in Lordaeron.” Well, after Sylvanas nukes Lordaeron and betrays the Horde, it isn’t completely outside the realm of possibility for them to turn to other elves among their kin that were ALSO turned away from Silvermoon… Also, if Void Elves didn’t get it the Alliance probably would have really died out lol.
HOWEVER, they SHOULD have given the undead a “Darkranger” option with an upright posture instead in my own opinion. A Nathanos-looking undead option would have been super cool and would have balanced out the Alliance getting darkranger options for 2 races meanwhile the Horde only gets one. Plus I think the Undead players would have loved it.
I was about to make similar thread but realized that nighborn where at the same battlefield as Void elf’s. If we thinking on same undercity bombing in BFA opening.
Nightborn and Void elf’s joined horde before that, so Blizzard should add it either to forsaken or Nighborn.
Nah, just that Sylvanus wasn’t wasting her time rezzing them. Their racials suck, they’re just a crappier night elf. She just stuck with the tried and true.
How do they desperately need more options? They got the lions share of customization options when they updated them this last time around. Runes, facial jewelry, glowing hands, a crapton of faces, hairstyles, etc.
I would argue that the night elf men look funkier than even the nightborne men. You can see where they thickened up the waistlines of nightborne men compared to the awkward night elves lol.
I find this take to be absolutely silly. The Alliance would have been fine without this. The issue involving Alliance population is not born of customization options, but because of a snowball effect. With x-faction having come out, the Alliance is gonna be fine.
Nightborne need more special coffee in the morning to get going and were late for the am meeting concerning Darkfallen thru a 70s slide projector presentation.
No, I don’t believe there were. There were trolls, orcs, and undead for sure. But during the quests itself, and the cutscenes, you see no nightborne. I could be wrong though. But even if they WERE at Darkshore, Sylvanas wouldn’t have raised them and risked losing an Ally by insulting them, as undeath is not seen as a very positive thing among all races.
Darkfallen were raised at Darkshore, not during the attack on Undercity. The plague at undercity raises mindless skeleton undead, not the sentient type.
Additionally there’s no evidence that Sylvanas ever raised fellow Horde at Darkshore, only Alliance-aligned forces.
