As we come to the end of season and move into the next, the changes to Priest’s mass dispel in 10.2 seems to really push the ability into being used for niche mechanics. With this nerf, I really see no purpose for the Bursting affix to stay in the game. I get this is dumb because we just got rid of 3 affixes but if we can’t have mass dispel for every pull next season, myself and many other players will simply not do keys on bursting weeks. Thoughts?
Because a single class can’t remove it from the group? Also it’s just an “avoid staggering kills” affix.
Kind of like how Bolstering is the “kill stuff evenly” affix.

hundreds of thousands of keys are run on bursting weeks without a priest. you’ll be fine.

Oh you poor poor babies. How will you ever deal with not having mass dispel for every pull? The rest of us have been doing it just fine, I’m sure you’ll manage.
Bursting is NOT FUN for healers as much as Necrotic never was to tanks.
It also punish the whole group for the same reason: if you pull too big, you might end up wiping, so you have to counter with priests or slow killing to let the bursting fall before killing another.
I would rather get quaking again.

You’ve never done a 20. You are not allowed to speak on this subject. You also have the only other mass dispel in the game in revival.

The class is simply needed to have a good time in the key.
Fair enough. But the state of bursting in coordination with mass dispel is still horrible.
Just stop making so many affixes that are healer problems. It feels like most of the affixes are stuff healers have to deal with and then there’s a couple for tanks and DPS just don’t have to care about anything.

I am not sure I have ever healed bursting with a priest.
I’ve done 20s.
I wouldnt even say im a very good healer.

Bursting is nerfed in df AND we have had many many many seasons with priest not being meta when bursting wasn’t capped.

Pepperidge farm remembers when bursting was % max HP based and undispellable and people cried less than they do now.

Every affix is a challenge for the group to overcome as a group.

If your group is terrible and you have healer victim complex then sure.
