The burst of knowledge buff recieved from wearing heirloom set pieces is not extending on kill of an enemy that provides honor or experience as per tooltip.
I had hit 40 from 39, and when killing mobs in Valsharah the timer wasn’t extending even though it was only taking 10 seconds to kill a mob. The timer just kept going down til depleted. My heirlooms are good until level 44 before the set bonus is nullified.

Experiencing the same bug.
Also noticed this bug the day the heirloom changes were released, and have wondered about why this bug still hasn’t been fixed.
Bumped for this reason.
are you using heirlooms appropriate for the armor-class of the character?
are they upgraded to the right level?
if the answer to both of those is yes, are you in Chromie time, or the standard time-line?
Yes, yes, and Chromie-Time. The buff simply is not working as intended, and hasn’t since heirlooms were updated. I’ve been leveling tons of characters this whole time, and this “this buff’s duration is increased when you kill a creature that rewards xp” thing has never actually worked; a kill actually cancels the buff immediately, without fail, no matter what level you are, what class you’re playing, what faction you’re on, or what server you’re on.
i tested it last night.
horde shaman, chromie time.
it was a 5 second increase with each kill.
maybe you’re misunderstanding the wording, and are expecting it to “refresh” with every kill?
it doesn’t work. i just tested it.
i killed a thingy… and not 1 second, or 5 seconds… or any seconds was added.
