Burning Rush

Burning Rush should be baseline BUT not have the minimum 100% movement rate and cost 5% maximum health per second.

Improved Burning Rush would be a talent in place of the current Burning Rush talent that would reduce the cost to 3% maximum health per second and stipulate that movement impairing effects can’t reduce your speed below 100%.

While baseline proposal sounds nice, I doubt anyone would pick that talent ever.

The price vs payoff of burning rush is currently far too harsh. To lose so much healthy so quickly to do what other classes can do by just using their built in mobility spell is too much.

I’d rather it just be a directional charge on a cooldown and having it baseline would be nice. I use the talent when soloing old raids and such, but that’s about it at the moment.

removing snare’s and any movespeed reductions below 100% is hyper undervalued in alot of cases. the issue at the moment is Dark pact is a free second life bar, so anything youd have to dodge, you can face tank. specifically speaking for pve anyways. IMO burning rush is very solid as is, its just outvalued by an overtuned 1m wall

Can you die from not turning Burning Rush off?

Nope unless you are taking damage from another source as well

Dark Pact being as strong as it is just makes locks incredibly safe to play. Circle negates mechanics but having a giant shield that can negate even more mechanics? Like Cheese said burning rush is a really good ability but it is outclassed by dark pact currently (pve).
