Items you need to click on are gold. They are transparent. They are up against a gold urn. You can’t see them. Then they don’t spawn after you use the 1st one and have to log out.

Seriously, the number of bugged stuff in this expansion. How are they releasing this unchecked, unfinished garbage? Like what in the world? The level of proficiency and attention has dropped so far, it feels pointless and actually sad to even want to play this game any longer.
This seems to be fixed once I dropped the quest and picked it up again. I was able to complete it
I ran into this just now. I found that you must wait until he’s done talking before moving, otherwise it never throws the paper into the fire. And then you have to drop the quest and start all over again.
So glad Blizzard fired so much of their QA last year. Great decision!
This quest is terribadly designed so that other players engaging in combat nearby will interrupt your progress with the items. I have found that I have to leave the area and return, and HOPE that players nearby aren’t fighting any ‘Pious Disciples’.
You just need to be close enough to the gold border to make sure your character is reading a book. Move on from 1/3-3/3 after each close of the book.
