Burning Crusade engineering

Could something be done to help out with getting the last few points of BC engineering? Everything is green, so you MIGHT get a point if you make the item involved. That wouldn’t be so bad if you didn’t have to spend a lot of time, or gold in the AH, getting the mats (like khorium) to build 10-20 of the green items to get a skill point.

Maybe give people a choice in the Darkmoon Faire as to where they want the monthly profession points to go to instead of defaulting to the latest expansion?

Disclaimer: I know the frustration of doing both TBC engineering and blacksmithing during content. That being said!

Dear Blizzard,
I truly hope everyone must suffer and feel the pain and agony you put us all through during live content. I do not want any player to miss the content and trials we went through to acquire the materials we needed to NOT gain a skill point. Try after try. The success chance from 372-375 in any profession really felt lower than trying to farm up Invincible’s Reins, or the current Recipe: Monelite Reinforced Chassis.
It’s part of the nostalgia we paid for month after month. I do not want them to miss out on the experience.

Still forever grinding,
Smaht

OLD EXPANSIONS’ PROFESSIONS STILL A PROBLEM

It is now 2023, and this problem is still not fixed!

I am at 74, and even with a yellow pattern that I’ve made 30 times, of course not recouping my expenses at the auction with those items, I STILL can’t get that last tick to 75. About eight patterns would be wonderful to have if I was at 75. I want to buy them. I want to make them, but there is NO way because, for some reason, I cannot get to 75!

Blizzard - Will those writers, designers, and programmers review and fix the situation? From what I can tell is mostly Burning Crusades professions! Other expansions have other problems.

I have the same problem with Jewelcrafting! I am fifteen points from finished DF, four points on BfA, and one point in Northrend. But I’m maxed out in Burning Crusades and the others. I’m maxed out on all my expansions, including Burning Crusades. Yes, somehow, I got a CLASSIC pattern that requires a level 350 in Classic, and I can’t make it because I’m not high enough. Design: Glinting Nightseye was added to the game in Burning Crusade 2.1.0. - I don’t even remember getting it. But I have it, and I can’t make it.

I have received achievements for “Master” and “Zen” in most of my professions through all my characters.

But for some reason, those patterns and professions involving anything over 75 are problems or 175 in BfA. I can’t find the Level 2 patterns. I’ve received Level 3 patterns as rewards but can’t make them.

The Enchanting in Legion is a problem - Any patterns that require you to go Over the original set high mark don’t work. I have been trying to get Level 2 recipes for months, if not years, and they don’t or won’t drop anymore.

The new professional system, while complicated, is fun. But it is very frustrating for those of us who are Completionists and would like our professions maxed out on every expansion because we like having those achievements. Nothing is consistent, and nothing works logically.

For those who read this message and have the same frustrations, please reply or put a star on this message even if you achieved the required number DURING the old expansion release - Please “heart” or “Reply” to this message as a way to keep this problems front and center. Postings get dropped and/or moved down the list so no one sees them. Until many people respond to this type of message, Blizzard will never understand that this is serious.
